Numeracy and Operation
In Power Lifting there are typically 4 different lifts:
1. Squat
2. Bench
3. DeadLift
4. Strict Curl
In a competition, lifters can choose to participate in different combination of lifts.
A Powerlifting Combination consists of three lifts:
Squat + Bench + DeadLift = Power Lifting Combination (1 total score)
Lifters can also choose to do single lifts where they only do
Bench Only (1 Score)
or
DeadLift Only (1 Score)
or
Strict Curl Only (1 Score)
These "Only" lifts can be combined, but there lifts will not go towards a total score like the PowerLifting combination. They will be scored individually:
Bench Only + DeadLift Only (2 Events and 2 Scores)
or
Bench Only + Strict Curl Only (2 Events and 2 Scores)
or
PowerLifting Combination + Strict Curl Only (All Events and 1 Total Score + 1 Only Lift)
